Primary section
Primary school ( 5 to 7 years)
Classes in primary school are small with 5 to 10 pupils per level. The major goals of our primary school programme are to achieve basic literacy and numeracy skills amongst the pupils, as well as establishing foundations in sciences, mathematics, geography, history and other social sciences.
The programme follows the French National Curriculum. Non-French speaking students can also enter this section through the French immersion programme.
One or more experienced teachers organise weekly schedules according to national guidelines. A pupil in CE1 (year 2) as an example receive the following courses:
Classroom teaching is complemented by a rich programme of visits and excursions as well as campus sport and cultural activities.
