Visits and excursions
Chantemerle's excellent location on the Swiss Riviera means that our students are able to visit most of the major attractions that the region has to offer.
There are several trips and excursions programme each week. Our programme provides a rich blend of cultural and recreational trips with always a little time to shop for souvenirs or presents. Pre-trip briefings in the classroom ensure that each and every student is aware of the relevance of a particular destination. Here are just some of the excursions which our students enjoy every year:
Swiss cities : Basel, Lausanne, Vevey and Montreux.
Trips and visits : Salt mines in Bex; Nestlé Chocolate factory; Chillon and Grandson castles, boat trips on Lake Geneva, United Nations in Geneva.

Museums : Swiss Museums of Photograpy and Alimentarium in Vevey, Tinguely and Beyeler museums in Basel, Paul Klee Museum in Bern, Olympic Games museum in Lausanne.

Hiking and mountain trips, as well as 2-day trips to Basel and Europa Park are also planned during the summer.

Summer school fees are all inclusive (tuition, transportation, all activities) excepted pocket money, medical costs and private courses.
