Welcome to Chantemerle, private boarding school in Switzerland since 1966
Established in 1966 by the Wegmüller family, Chantemerle is a private boarding and day school in Switzerland. Our educational work focuses on those privileged years, between 4 and 16 years, where we believe we can make a real difference, building a strong educational and academic foundation leading our students to internationally recognized diplomas. Over the years, Chantemerle has established a strong reputation for its positive and personalised education. Beautifully located on the Swiss Riviera between Geneva and Montreux, Chantemerle offers a warm and nurturing learning environment.
The private school of Chantemerle offers 3 programs to choose from:
1. ACADEMIC SCHOOL YEAR: A rigorous, comprehensive and internationally recognized program from kindergarten to middle school. Chantemerle prepares for the French, Swiss and International High School entrance exams as well as the official language diplomas (DELF, Cambridge and DaF). Focus is on reinforcing basic skills (maths, French, English and German) and to teach our students to learn more effectively, becoming responsible and autonomous learners.
2. FRENCH IMMERSION AND STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM: Year round 2-week to 10-month stays designed for non French-speaking students willing to learn French during their academic school year. DELF exams preparation. Sport, artistic and cultural activities are proposed, ski in Winter is very popular.
3. SUMMER CAMPS: 2-week to 6-week stays from June 26th to August 7th 2016. The camps propose intensive language courses (English, French or German), a Science camp as well as a Soccer camp (Juventus Soccer School). Many sports, artistic and cultural activities are proposed, with nature walks and excursions in Switzerland. Europa-park.
At Chantemerle, we consider personal development as important as academic success. Many extracurricular activities, sports (winter skiing), arts, social and cultural are proposed on campus or outdoors. In particular, our Performing Art workshops (circus, song and instruments, dance and theater performance) allow our students to discover and grow their talents.
Chantemerle strives to understand the needs and expectations of each family and to provide the highest education at a contained cost. We would be pleased to set up a first discussion (by phone or Skype) with Yann Wegmüller, director of studies. This would be an opportunity to better understand the school, our programs, and to answer your questions.
